Business Classification
Raven Research supplies analytical-grade biochemical reference standards and laboratory research materials to qualified research customers. Our materials are classified and sold as research-use-only (RUO) reference standards under MCC 5169 — Chemicals and Allied Products.
We are not a pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, telehealth operator, supplement store, wellness brand, peptide therapy clinic, or consumer health destination. We do not supply products for therapeutic, clinical, diagnostic, or consumer use.
Research-Use Policy
All materials supplied by Raven Research are intended exclusively for:
- In-vitro laboratory research conducted in controlled scientific settings
- Analytical method development, calibration, and validation
- Identity verification and structural confirmation of biochemical reference standards
- Laboratory evaluation of receptor binding, signaling pathways, or biochemical mechanisms in cell models
Materials are not intended for, and may not be used for, any purpose outside qualified in-vitro laboratory research or analytical evaluation.
Qualified Buyer Requirements
Materials are available exclusively to qualified research customers. A qualified research customer is a person or organization that:
- Is engaged in legitimate in-vitro laboratory research, analytical method development, or scientific evaluation
- Operates within or on behalf of an academic institution, pharmaceutical or biotechnology company, contract research organization (CRO), independent research laboratory, or equivalent qualified research entity
- Possesses the appropriate laboratory facilities, training, and expertise to handle analytical-grade reference materials safely
- Is 21 years of age or older
- Is purchasing materials solely for in-vitro research or analytical use — not for personal use, consumer use, dietary supplementation, or any administration to themselves or others
Raven Research reserves the right to cancel any order from a buyer who does not meet these requirements or where intended use is inconsistent with our research-use policy.
Prohibited Uses
The following uses are explicitly prohibited and constitute a breach of our Terms of Research:
- Human consumption, ingestion, or administration by any route (oral, injectable, topical, inhaled, or other)
- Animal consumption, veterinary administration, or use in any living organism
- Therapeutic, clinical, or diagnostic application of any kind
- Dietary supplementation or formulation into any food, beverage, or supplement product
- Dosing, injection, subcutaneous administration, or any other delivery route
- Resale as consumer products, health products, supplements, or any product intended for human or animal use
- Any use that contradicts the research-use-only classification of these materials
Documentation Standards
Every lot supplied by Raven Research is independently tested by Janoshik Analytical prior to release. Our documentation standards include:
- HPLC Purity Analysis: All materials verified to ≥99% purity by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) area percent method
- Mass Spectrometry Identity: Compound identity confirmed by mass spectrometry (MS) molecular weight analysis
- Certificate of Analysis (CoA): Issued per lot, including compound identity, lot number, test date, HPLC result, and MS confirmation
- Third-Party Independence: All testing performed by Janoshik Analytical, an independent laboratory, with no conflicts of interest
Certificates of Analysis for current stock are available on our CoA page. Lot-specific CoAs are available on request by contacting support@yourdomain.com with your order ID.
Checkout Acknowledgment
Before any order can be submitted, each buyer must affirmatively confirm:
"I confirm that I am purchasing these materials exclusively for qualified laboratory research or analytical use. I will not use these materials for human or animal consumption, therapeutic use, clinical use, diagnostic use, dietary supplementation, dosing, injection, ingestion, or administration. I confirm I am 21 years of age or older."
This acknowledgment is a contractual representation by the buyer and is incorporated into the Terms of Research governing each order.
Regulatory Status
Materials supplied by Raven Research are research-use-only (RUO) reference standards. They are:
- Not approved, cleared, or licensed by the FDA or any other regulatory authority as drugs, biologics, medical devices, dietary supplements, or consumer products
- Not evaluated for safety or efficacy in humans or animals
- Not manufactured under pharmaceutical cGMP conditions
- Supplied solely as analytical reference materials for scientific research
Restricted Products Policy
Raven Research does not supply the following categories, regardless of how they are framed:
- SARMs (selective androgen receptor modulators) for consumer positioning
- Erectile dysfunction drug names or close variants (sildenafil, tadalafil, etc.)
- Unapproved consumer GLP/GIP products with weight-loss claims or dosing language
- Enclomiphene, clomiphene, or close variants with consumer health framing
- Methylene blue in consumer formulation contexts
- Needles, syringes, alcohol swabs, or injection supplies
- Oral supplement forms (pills, capsules, tablets, softgels, gummies, troches)
- Any product, claim, or use case not consistent with qualified in-vitro laboratory research
